Al Kayner's St Pat's Day Races on Schedule for March 20, 21, 2010

It's that time of year . . . The preparation for the 37th Annual AL Kayner St. Patrick's Day Race presented by The Bay Area Runner's Club. Originating in historic downtown Bay City.

The event offers something for everyone, whether it be the Leprechaun Run for the youngsters or the challenge of the 5K or 8K. The St. Patrick's Day race has become a staple for Midwest runners and is a perfect way to celebrate the return of another beautiful Midwest spring.

Ann Gasta, Race Director said, "Race route is in reverse this year to be more user friendly! We are shooting for a potential for 6000, encourage your family and friends to come out and join us!"

  • YOUTH LEPRECHAUN RUN (12 & under) - Saturday, March 20, 2010 (2:00 PM)
  • ST. PATRICK'S DAY RACE (5K & 8K) - Sunday, March 21, 2010 (11:45 AM) 5K Walk to immediately follow.
  • 5TH ANNUAL BARC FITNESS EXPO - Saturday, March 20, 2010 (10:00 AM - 3:00PM) Bay County Community Center

    All finishers will received a medal. Awards to 1st Overall, 1st Masters, Male & Female, plus guaranteed 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in EACH age group.

    Timing for the race is monitored by Gault Race Management. This is a chip scored race using Chrono Track timing- (D-tag) This allows runner's timing to start once their foot crosses the start line. Timing for the race is monitored by Gault Race Management.
